ReplyTo bad we can't fire the Governor. , who called this a "positive developement". O'Malley is to busy worrying about his next run for office to worry about running the state.

Tell that to Katie O'Malley. A few years ago, while her husband was being booed at the Catonsville parade, she leaned back behind her children and gave the crowd the finger. Dozens of people saw her do it. I guess this the Democrats version of family values.

ReplyIt is amazing. every single legislative session ends with the Dems raising taxes on the already struggling people of this state. Sometimes, they even call for special sessions JUST to raise taxes. When will it end?????

I knew sooner or later, some lib would blame Bush. And where is tour "proof" that Erlich handed out bribes. This State has been in Democratic hands since the beginning of the 20th century. This is all on the Dems. Libs like you always try to find a way to blame republicans for Demacratic failures.

Fact. He ha s raised taxes, fees , and tolls a total of 24 times on the struggling families of Maryland, whike people are strying to stretch their paychecks as far as they can.
Fact. Maryland had the Triple AAA rating before O'Malley took ,
Fact: Wall Strreet journal had MD rated as the 10 highest taxed state in the nation.Fact. Maryland has the ninth highest crime rate in the nation.
Fact. More than four years after the slots bill was passed (O''Malley said "slots are an immoral way to balance the budget" as mayor), there are only three of the five propsed casinos up and running. Actually, a sixth casino has been allowed, yet we still only have three
I could go on and on, but here is my opinion-O'Malley has been a horrible governor, worse than even Glendenning -

ReplyIf anyone thinks it wil only cost residents $1.50 a month, I have some swampland to sell you. O'Malley and CO. always underestimate costs to consumers, while overstating money that they project will come in from tax increases. Predictions, for example, of the money that the "millionaire tax" was supposed to bring in was not even close to projections. Not only did it not bring in increased revenue, the amount of revenue from Millionaires actually dropped. Look at the Hilton that the city built under O'Malley. It is bleeding red ink to the tune of around $11 million a year, according to Fox 45.
If this bill passes, count on your energy bills skyrocketing -

ReplyThat's OK. If you miss the deadline, just drive to Deleware to buy your products. They have no sales tax all year round.

ReplyI buy nearly everything of value in Deleware, where there is no sales tax. That way, I don't have to worry about what time of the year it is. Md. is taxing people to geath.

This guy is a joke! He actually thinks he can be President? Based on what? He is delusional. He has raised taxes fees , and tolls an astonishing 37 times in six years, and is not finished.I guess he figures if he can get to the Federal level, he can confiscate what is left of our paychecks.
