Pikesville Precinct Crime: Break-Ins Reported at Homes, Sheds

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

A burglar stole a pillowcase and jewelry at a Pikesville home last week. Between 3:45 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. Feb. 14, a side window at a home in the 3400 block of Deep Willow Ave. was broken, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department. Besides the pillowcase, a watch, two necklaces, a gold wedding ring, three sets of earrings, three pins, a set of keys, a silver box and eight silver dollars, were missing, it states. Milford Mill Church Lane. 8300 block. At 11:56 p.m. Feb. 14. A burglar came into a back yard and broke a window with an unknown object. Nothing was stolen, but the window was destroyed. Pikesville Precinct Crime: Homes, Unlocked Vehicle Burgled

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Lochearn Oak Avenue. 3600 block. Between 5 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 20. Residents found their home damaged and items stolen. The rear screen door was open and the inside door had been forced open. The home was ransacked and jewelry, electronics, cash, and an insurance check were missing. Pikesville Marnat Road. 2900 block. Between 1 p.m. Jan. 15 and 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22. A burglar came into the home and took jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry, but a resident's keys had been missing since Jan. 15. 11 Warren Road. Alphabet Scholars Day Care Center. Police: Burglar Caught Stealing Copper, Aluminum Piping

Police arrested Terrance Kelty Morrison, 39, of Bowie, at the scene of a burglary.

A Bowie man was arrested and charged after police say they found him stealing copper and aluminum piping from a Lochearn home. Terrence Kelty Morrison, Jr., 39, of the 12400 block of Shadow Lane, was arrested Dec. 18, by Baltimore County police in the Pikesville precinct, according to court records. At 2:36 p.m., Morrison "defeated the lock box on the front door" to get into the home in the 3600 block of Oak Ave., according to a police report. He then used the key inside the box to open the door, police said in the release. "Once inside, he used power tools to destroy the floor and ceiling to gain access to piping," according to the report. "He took the piping but was stopped by police at the scene." Pink-Gloved Burglar Flees Scene

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A burglar who was prying open a shed ran and dropped a pair of pink and black nylon gloves after an alarm sounded. According to Baltimore County police, at about 3:05 a.m. Thursday, the burglar tried to get into the locked shed in the 3700 block of Oak Ave. in Gwynn Oak. There was $100 in damage to the aluminum door trim, but the burglar did not get in, the report states.
