Jewish Community Services dedicated its new local office earlier this month. JCS held the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC on June 5 with a number of people on hand. Those who were involved included: Barbara Levy Gradet, JCS executive director; Israel "Izzy" Patoka, director, Governor's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs; Rabbi Benjamin Sharff of Har Sinai Congregation; Baltimore County Councilwoman Vicki Almond; Brian A. Goldman, JCS board of directors; Nancy Kohn Rabin, chairwoman of JCS Nominating Committee; Sen. Bobby Zirkin and Bruce Sholk, chairman of The Associated.

The JCS has moved its office to the Rosenbloom Owings Mills Jewish Community Center in Owings Mills, and will dedicate it on Tuesday evening.
Jewish Community Services will dedicate its new Baltimore County office during its annual meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills Jewish Community Center. The new, larger JCS office opened April 30, so now JCS services are available in a much larger space. JCS still maintains an office at the Weinberg Park Heights Jewish Community Center. From the Owings Mills location, clients can access JCS services. And if they are members of the Jewish Community Center, can use those services as well. JCS services include counseling for adults, children and families, career services, assistance for seniors and caregivers, and more, according to a news release from JCS.
