National Weather Service: Thunderstorms, Gusts Possible
A hazardous weather outlook, which could include "isolated tornadoes," is in effect for Baltimore County and surrounding areas, according to the Pikesville forecast.
Because rain and possible thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Pikesville. Up to a half inch of rain is expected to fall Wednesday, with an additional half-inch at night, according to the NWS. Thunderstorms before 2 p.m. Wednesday and after 2 a.m. Thursday could bring additional rain, the forecast states. Gusts and tornadoes are also possible Wednesday, according to the hazardous weather outlook. The outlook covers the Maryland counties of Baltimore, Harford, Prince Georges and Anne Arundel, as well as Washington, D.C. and parts of northern Virginia.
