Pikesville Precinct Crime: Thief Steals from Unlocked Truck

A burglar stole power tools from an unlocked work truck in Pikesville. The truck was parked in the driveway of a home in the 6800 block of Brookmill Road between 2 p.m. Dec. 20 and 9 a.m. Dec. 23, when the tools went missing, the report states. An employee of Park Heights Roofing in Baltimore reported that two Stihl blowers and a bush trimmer, a DeWalt battery-powered saw and a drill, four Hitachi nail guns and a saw blade were among the items stolen. Windsor Mill Man Indicted for Abuse of Disabled Adult

Solomon Oscar Ankrah, 31, was indicted in connection with an October incident in which he allegedly physically assaulted a disabled adult under his care.

A Windsor Mill man was indicted and charged with assaulting and abusing a vulnerable adult in an October incident in which the disabled adult was assaulted and strangled. Solomon Oscar Ankrah, also known as Ali Aminu, 31, is charged with one felony and one misdemeanor count of abuse of a vulnerable adult and one felony and one misdemeanor count of assault, Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler announced in a press release Thursday. Ankrah, who was employed as a caretaker of a 28-year-old disabled man at a Greenspring Valley Road residential facility operated by Living Sans Frontieres, allegedly assaulted the resident after an argument over cleaning his room. Windsor Mill Group Home Worker Arrested in Assault

A Baltimore man who worked in a Windsor Mill group home was arrested Wednesday after being indicted by a grand jury, authorities said. Kevin Louis Makle, 35, allegedly abused a vulnerable adult three times over a two-day period this spring, according to a news release from Attorney General Doug Gansler's office. He was charged with three counts of abuse of a vulnerable adult in the second degree and three counts of assault in the second degree, the release states. According to the release, the abuse allegedly occurred on April 21 and 22 in the 7100 block of Sandown Circle in Windsor Mill, where the vulnerable male, 31, resides.
