Police: Burglar Caught Stealing Copper, Aluminum Piping
Police arrested Terrance Kelty Morrison, 39, of Bowie, at the scene of a burglary.
A Bowie man was arrested and charged after police say they found him stealing copper and aluminum piping from a Lochearn home. Terrence Kelty Morrison, Jr., 39, of the 12400 block of Shadow Lane, was arrested Dec. 18, by Baltimore County police in the Pikesville precinct, according to court records. At 2:36 p.m., Morrison "defeated the lock box on the front door" to get into the home in the 3600 block of Oak Ave., according to a police report. He then used the key inside the box to open the door, police said in the release. "Once inside, he used power tools to destroy the floor and ceiling to gain access to piping," according to the report. "He took the piping but was stopped by police at the scene." Good. Lock him up. For people to destroy homes to steal piping is horrendous. Put chains on him and let him clean the highways.   more ›
