Pikesville Crime: Copper, TV, Jewelry, More Reported Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Gwynn Oak Alter Street. 6800 block. Between Oct. 19 and noon, Nov. 2. Copper piping was missing at a foreclosed home owned by Bank of America. Drywall was destroyed and a rear window had been forced open. Pikesville Keyser Road. 3200 block. Between noon and 4:40 p.m., Nov. 1. A TV and gold ring were missing from a home. Warren Road. Unit block. Between 5 p.m. Oct. 14 and 5 p.m., Oct. 21, according to a Nov. 1 report. An air conditioning unit was missing from the side of the building.

Police Charge 2 Men in Pikesville Purse Snatching

Two Baltimore men are charged with robbery Thursday.

Baltimore County police arrested two Baltimore City men Thursday on robbery charges after a reported purse snatching in Pikesville. At about 10 a.m. Thursday in the unit block of Stonehenge Circle, police say one suspect asked a woman for directions to Old Court Road. Before the woman could answer, the suspect snatched the purse off her arm, according to a police report. Two maintenance men saw the incident, chased the man and watched him get into a 2005 navy blue Hyundai Santa Fe, the report states. A second suspect was in the vehicle. Later that day, police arrested Corey Morrell Winfield, of the 4900 block of Nelson Ave., and Steve Wayne Diggs Jr., of the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road, on Thursday and charged the men with robbery, a …
