Pikesville Precinct Crime: Man Attacked and Robbed

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Milford Mill Church Lane. 8300 block. Between 2:45 and 5:31 p.m. Jan. 31. A man was out in this area when he was robbed of his iPhone and earpiece. A robber attacked him from behind. Police are investigating a suspect they say is "known to the area." Pikesville Debilen Circle. 4600 block. Between midnight and 3 p.m. Jan. 30. A resident reported that two video gaming systems were missing from her apartment. There was no forced entry.

Robber Holds Up KFC Manager at Gunpoint

A KFC employee was robbed at gunpoint Thursday in Lochearn. At 7:47 p.m., a gunman came into the store at 7112 Liberty Road and took cash while the manager was counting it, according to a report from Baltimore County police. The robber threatened the manager with a silver, semi-automatic handgun, it states. The suspect is described as a man of unknown race who is 5-foot-8 and weighs 180 pounds, the report states. He wore black pants, a glove, cap, a black ski mask covering his face and a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

UPDATE: 7-Eleven Clerk Robbed at Knifepoint, Punched

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

UPDATE (1 p.m. Jan. 30)-Two robbers threatened a 7-Eleven clerk with a knife last week and stole cash and cigarettes before punching him. At 1:25 a.m. Jan. 22, the men got into the Pikesville store by forcing open the locked front door, according to a report from Baltimore County police. They threatened the clerk with a knife, and stole cash from both registers as well as 10 packs of Newport cigarettes, from the store at 1 Greenwood Place, it states. They punched him twice on his face and broke his glasses, according to another police report. One of the suspects is described as a black teen, 5-foot-8 tall who wore a dark gray hoodie, black sweatpants and mask, black-and-white shoes and black gloves. Pikesville Crime: 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

An armed robber stole cash from the 7-Eleven on Reisterstown Road near McHenry Avenue. Between 3:15-3:19 p.m. Dec. 27, the robber came into the store, demanded money from a clerk and showed him a handgun, a report from the Baltimore County Police Department states. The robber, described as a black man between ages 25-30, and between 5-foot 8 inches and 6 feet tall, ran away with $40 in cash, it states. He was reportedly wearing a hoodie, jeans and dark shoes.

Teen Shot in Gywnn Oak Treated and Released

A 15-year-old was shot during a robbery on Dec. 29, according to Baltimore County Police.

A 15-year-old male was treated and released for a gunshot wound he suffered during a robbery, Baltimore County Police said. Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29., Baltimore County Police responded to an incident near Windsor Mill Road and Meadowview Drive in Gwynn Oak, where they found a 15-year-old male with one gunshot wound to his upper body. The teen told police he was shot during a robbery by two suspects, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. The 15-year-old has since been treated for his injuries and released. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects, the release said.

UPDATE: Teens Beat Delivery Man for Chinese Food

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

UPDATE (3:02 p.m. Dec. 18)—Four teens jumped a food delivery man from China King, beat him and stole his food. Between 7-7:16 p.m. Wednesday, the man was making a delivery in the unit block of Quimper Court in Pikesville, when the boys attacked. The teens, described as between 16-17 years old and black, punched the man's right eye, and searched his pockets for money. However, there was no cash. They ran to the nearby 7-Eleven and on to the Old Court metro station. Two suspects were 5-foot 7-inches tall and weighed 130 pounds. The other two were 5-foot 7 inches and weighed 120 pounds. The fourth was 6 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds. Editor's note: Descriptions of the suspects have been included, marking a change in Patch policy.

Help Police Find a Gas Station Robbery Suspect

Man was filmed during a robbery in Catonsville this fall.

Baltimore County police have released a photo of a man they say is responsible for a Catonsville robbery. On Oct. 21 the man ran up to a woman at a Shell gas station in the 900 block of Ingleside Ave., and grabbed her wallet while she was getting into her vehicle, according to a news release. He ran eastbound on Calyn Road, it states. The suspect is in his 30s, is 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds. He has a medium build and is bald. Pikesville Crime: Teen Falls After Group Swipes His iPhone

A group of four males surrounded a teen boy and stole his cell phone on Nov. 21. Between 2:31 and 2:35 p.m. Nov. 21, a 16-year-old boy was walking along Rockdale Terrace when when four males, including at least one teen, gathered around him and stole his white iPhone, a police report states. The victim fell to the ground in the 3600 block of Rockdale Terrace. Meanwhile, the boy who has his phone ran toward Milford Mill Road, the report states. The others ran in separate directions. One suspect is described as age 17-18. He wore a gray hat, a gray or green jacket and blue jeans. The phone had a Miami Heat cover, the report states.

Pikesville Crime: Robbers Surround Woman, Steal Purse, Pills

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A woman said narcotics were missing from her purse after it was snatched Sunday in the Greenspring area near Wellwood. According to a report by Baltimore County police, at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, five men surrounded the 42-year-old woman, who was in front of a residence in the 6600 block of Sanzo Road. They allegedly stole her purse and ran, the report states. She said she found her purse, but a pill bottle that had been filled with pills was empty, it states. Police searched but did not find the suspects. They were described as five men, ages 18-20, and between 5-foot 9-inches and 5-foot 10-inches tall. One wore a black, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and another wore a red jacket with blue jeans, the report states.

The Patch has some serious issues they need to deal with when reporting these crimes. If the police report contains age sex race height etc, so should the reporting on this site. To delete that information is an abandonment of journalistic standards. It is a lie of omission.   more ›

Robbery Leaves Victim Walletless, His Memory Unclear

A 28-year-old man walked into the Pikesville precinct to report that he had been robbed. However, his memory was unclear, because he had been punched on his face during the attack, according to a report by Baltimore County police. "Victim could not give an exact statement as to what happened," the report states. Some time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Russern Court and Milford Industrial Road in Pikesville, a man punched the victim, and stole his cell phone and wallet, according to the report. "(The) victim believes he was coming from his residence when the incident took place," it states. The report was taken at 7:48 p.m. Nov. 14.
