Police Say Towson Man Robbed at Knifepoint in Garrison

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct. Charges do not indicate convictions.

A North Baltimore man has been charged in the robbery Sunday of another man in Garrison. At 3:10 a.m. that day, Travis Marcus Wilson, 21, of the 1000 block of Woodson Ave., is accused of robbing a Towson man at gunpoint while in the 9100 block of Reisterstown Road in Garrison, according to a report by Baltimore County police. Wilson is accused of stealing the man's wallet, cell phone and car keys, and driving away in the man's 2012 Toyota Prius. Police from the Pikesville precinct who were on patrol stopped Wilson and arrested him, the report states. Wilson is charged with first- and second-degree assault; unlawful taking of a motor vehicle; theft of $10,000 to under $100,000; theft of less than $1,000; having a dangerous, concealed weapon…

Report: Armed Robbers Steal Wallet, Rental Mazda

A Garrison man was robbed near his home.

A resident of Hartley Circle in Garrison was robbed at gunpoint last week outside his home. At about 11:10 p.m., May 9, a man pointed a blue-steel, automatic handgun at him and stole his wallet, cell phone, car keys, and a rental car -- a four-door Mazdaspeed 6, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The robber and an accomplice, both males wearing ski masks and dark-colored clothing, sped away in the car toward Pittsfield Circle, the report said.

Robber Borrows Phone, Fails To Snatch Purse

Criminal runs, empty-handed, after woman screams.

A woman let a stranger use her cell phone, but her screams prevented him from snatching her purse. At 2:23 p.m. Friday, a man came up to a woman near her apartment in the 8000 block of Township Drive in Garrison and asked to use her phone. She let him, and he returned it. Then "he tried to snatch her purse," a report by Baltimore County police states. "After the victim began screaming, the suspect took off running and was unable to steal her purse," it states. He left without stealing anything.

Police Seek Man in March Robbery

The incident happened in the 8000 block of Liberty Road in Windsor Mill.

Baltimore County police Thursday released surveillance photos of a man wanted in a March robbery in Windsor Mill. Police say the man entered an unspecified business in the 8000 block of Liberty Road at around 11:30 p.m. on Mar. 8. The man showed a weapon and demanded money from an employee there, according to a police news release. He ran away westbound on Liberty Road. The man is described as black and 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.

Report: 5 Steal Salon's Bank Deposit, a Phone

On Saturday afternoon, five males attacked a man in front of a Reisterstown Road business.

A group of five males reportedly assaulted and robbed a man in front a Pikesville salon Saturday afternoon. At 3:50 p.m., the five stole cash and a cell phone from the robbery victim while in front of Next Level Salon, 303 Reisterstown Rd., according to report by Baltimore County police. The cash was a deposit that belonged to the salon, the report states. However, the suspects also stole some of the victim's cash. All five left in a gold Toyota Camry in an unknown direction on Reisterstown Road, according to police. One of the alleged suspects is a short, black man with light complexion and a goatee, according to the report. Another is described as a black man in his 30s who wore a white, orange-striped shirt.

Randallstown Man Gets 12 Years for Armed Robbery at Mall

Man was observed by police holding a gun to another man in the parking lot.

  A Randallstown man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for the armed robbery of a man in the parking lot at the Mall in Columbia in which police observed him holding a gun on the victim. On Sept. 6, 2012, police watched Pierre Antwan Booth, 29, and a Columbia man, Odell Kareem Copeland, 32, rob a Laurel man as the man attempted to enter his car at the mall parking lot. Police were positioned in a nearby parking garage in a surveillance position, according to the police report. Copeland and Booth were arrested shortly after the robbery. Copeland pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery last week. He was described as the lookout while Booth brandished the gun to steal the victim's cigarettes, car keys, $75 and his cell phone, …

Group Attacks 2 Teens Walking

Eight to 10 teens stole cell phones and accessories.

Two teens walking near Rockdale Terrace and Woodgate Court were robbed of their cell phones. At 2:30 p.m. March 11, eight to 10 teens came up to the pair, assaulted them and stole their phones, phone cases, and a set of headphones, according to a police report. "The victims were not injured, and the property was not recovered," it states.

Greenspring Shell Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

A clerk at the Shell gas station in the Greenspring Shopping Center had a gun placed on her head and chest during a robbery this week. At 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a robber came into the store, ordered the clerk to give him money, ran behind the counter and put the gun on her, according to a Baltimore County police report. He took cash and some boxes of cigarettes, and ran toward Wood Court Road, the report states. The store is located at 2859 Smith Ave. in Pikesville.

obviously no justification for a violent crime such as this, but i agree with this comment that the prices were somewhere in site of "normal" when they reopened, only to skyrocket soon after. If i had no gas, i'd go there for one gallon, then drive elsewhere to save 30 cents a gallon.   more ›

3 Men Accused of Robbing 24 Area Convenience Stores

The trio allegedly held up Royal Farms, 7-Eleven and High's stores in the city and the county.

(UPDATED, 1:14 p.m.)—Three men have been arrested and charged with robbing 24 convenience stores in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County. The men were arrested following a high-speed pursuit into Baltimore County after robbing two convenience stores in North Baltimore. They were taken into custody in a parking garage at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson. Randallstown Popeye's Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

A robber made off with cash from a Randallstown drive-thru register last weekend. At 11:20 p.m. Saturday, a man came in through a side door at the Popeye's restaurant at 8505 Liberty Rd., according to a Pikesville precinct police report. The man, who had a gun in his jacket, demanded money from the clerk there, according to the report. The clerk handed the robber the drive-thru cash-register drawer with an unknown amount of money in it. The robber took it and ran out the side door, across the parking lot, according to the report.
