Pikesville Precinct Crime: Burglars Burn House Walls

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglars broke into a vacant home and set two small fires in an upstairs bedroom. On Thursday, police went to the 3600 block of Marriotts Lane in Milford Mill to investigate a first-degree burglary at the home, according to a report by Baltimore County police. The walls were destroyed in the house owned by Southern Land Development Company, the report states. Pikesville Stone Hollow Court. Unit block. Between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday. Report: 5 Steal Salon's Bank Deposit, a Phone

On Saturday afternoon, five males attacked a man in front of a Reisterstown Road business.

A group of five males reportedly assaulted and robbed a man in front a Pikesville salon Saturday afternoon. At 3:50 p.m., the five stole cash and a cell phone from the robbery victim while in front of Next Level Salon, 303 Reisterstown Rd., according to report by Baltimore County police. The cash was a deposit that belonged to the salon, the report states. However, the suspects also stole some of the victim's cash. All five left in a gold Toyota Camry in an unknown direction on Reisterstown Road, according to police. One of the alleged suspects is a short, black man with light complexion and a goatee, according to the report. Another is described as a black man in his 30s who wore a white, orange-striped shirt.

Two Men Rob Electronics Store at Gunpoint

Robbers taped sales clerk's feet and hands and stole merchandise, according to Baltimore County police.

An electronics store was robbed Friday evening. At 6:45 p.m., two robbers came into the Communications Electronics store in Owings Mills with a handgun, according to a report by Baltimore County police at the Pikesville Precinct. They took the sales clerk to the back of the store, located at 9400 Reisterstown Road, where they taped the clerk's hands and feet together, the report states. They stole bank cards, cell phones, iPods and cash, and left in an unknown vehicle in an unknown direction, it states. The robbers are described as two males. Police: Second Driver Responsible for Truck Crashing into Restaurant

A motorist in a car veered into the truck's lane on Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, causing the truck to crash into Mari Luna Latin Grille and Aqua Vision Center.

A car traveling on Reisterstown Road caused a truck to crash through the fronts of Mari Luna Latin Grille and Aqua Vision Monday morning in Pikesville. The driver of a 2010 Honda Accord—Sharon James Adkins of the 1400 block of Landis Circle, Bel Air—was southbound in the middle lane on Reisterstown Road, when she "swerved into (the truck's lane) and struck the front driver's side door of the truck," said Louise Rogers-Fehr, a police spokeswoman. The truck, driven by Jordan Duncan Palmeri of the unit block of North Main Street in Port Deposit, was in the lane closest to the businesses. UPDATE: Owings Mills Stabbing Sends Man to Shock Trauma

The man walked into an Owings Mills business after being stabbed at an unknown location.

UPDATED 8:43 p.m. Jan 31: A man was flown to shock trauma after a stabbing in Owings Mills Thursday afternoon. Baltimore County Police responded to Elite Lock and Key, located at 9925 Reisterstown Road, at 3:59 p.m. and found an adult male with at least one stab wound. The man was stabbed at an unknown location and went to Elite Lock and Key after the stabbing, according to a police press release. He was transported to an area hospital by medevac with life-threatening injuries, said Baltimore County Police Cpl. John Wachter. The incident is still under investigation, police said.

Police: Man Robbed of Shoes, Phone in Pikesville Building

A Reisterstown man was arrested after Baltimore County police charged him with armed robbery Jan. 24 in Pikesville. At about 1 p.m., a 27-year-old aquaintance of Jylio Arturo Makel, 27, was in the building at 1116 Reisterstown Road when allegedly Makel and four others approached him. The building houses Healthway Pharmacy and some offices. The group allegedly asked the victim for money and shoes, according to a police report. When the victim said he didn't have it, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a gun and removed the victim's shoes and cell phone from him. Pikesville Crime: 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

An armed robber stole cash from the 7-Eleven on Reisterstown Road near McHenry Avenue. Between 3:15-3:19 p.m. Dec. 27, the robber came into the store, demanded money from a clerk and showed him a handgun, a report from the Baltimore County Police Department states. The robber, described as a black man between ages 25-30, and between 5-foot 8 inches and 6 feet tall, ran away with $40 in cash, it states. He was reportedly wearing a hoodie, jeans and dark shoes.

SKETCH: Armed Robber Held Up Pikesville Gold Buyer

Two men stole jewelry and money Nov. 14 from Sobo Gold Buyers in Pikesville.

Police have released a sketch of a man who held up a Pikesville gold buyer at gunpoint last month. In a news release Monday, police ask anyone with information on the suspect to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020. At about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14, a man armed with a gun confronted an employee outside of Sobo Gold Buyers, located in the 700 block of Reisterstown Road. He forced the employee to walk back into the store, according to the release. Meanwhile, another suspect came onto the scene. The two stole jewelry and money, then ran. Armed Woman Swipes Smokes from a 7-Eleven

An armed robber stole 30 packs of cigarettes from the downtown Pikesville 7-Eleven store. At 9:08 p.m. Oct. 26, at 1204 Reisterstown Rd., a woman led an employee to believe that she had a handgun, and stole 30 packs of Newports, according to a Baltimore County police report. Police said witnesses describe the robber as having a large build. She wore a blue jacket and black baseball-style hat.

Dry Cleaner Robbed at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Two men robbed a cashier at gunpoint at Dryclean Direct, a Pikesville business. Between 4:45-4:59 p.m. Saturday, at 7002 B Reisterstown Rd., one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. The other suspect did not show a weapon, according to the report. The two got away with $833.75 in cash. The robbers left the scene, the report states. An investigation is ongoing.
