Randallstown Man Arrested in Weekend Homicide

UPDATE (10:06 p.m. March 13)--A Randallstown man is facing murder charges for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend's son, according to Baltimore County police. On Monday night, police arrested James Thomas Haywood, 54, of the 3800 block of Pikeswood Drive, and charged him with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Andrew Maurice Fisher, 28, of Gwynn Oak. Police spokeswoman Detective Cathy Batton said police got a call at 10 p.m. Sunday about a stabbing at Haywood's home. Fisher, a resident of the 7000 block of Windsor Mill Road in Gwynn Oak, had already left, police said. "Our officers discovered that our victim ... had taken a cab to Northwest Hospital," Batton said. "He later died at about 4 a.m. Monday morning." Woodlawn …

Shooting at Kaiser Permanente Under Investigation

Baltimore County Police: On Sunday in Woodlawn, a man shot at another, but no one was injured.

A man opened fire Sunday inside the Kaiser Permanente building in Woodlawn, but no one was injured, according to Baltimore County police. "Shots were fired at a male who was at the location, but he was not hurt," said police spokesman Corporal John Wachter. The shooting occurred at 7141 Security Boulevard, and is under investigation by detectives in Precinct 2 Woodlawn. Some property was damaged by the shooting, including windows, doors and some paneling, Wachter said. Follow Pikesville Patch on Facebook and Twitter.
