Woodlawn, Pikesville Precincts to Get 15 Academy Graduates

Baltimore County Police say that five officers of the 134th Academy Class will be assigned to Pikesville and 10 will go to Woodlawn.

More officers are coming to the Pikesville and Woodlawn precincts as the Baltimore County Police Department graduates its latest class on Tuesday. The graduation ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at CCBC-Dundalk, at the training academy, 7200 Sollers Point Road, Building G, according to a news release. County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will speak to the class and will help Police Chief Jim Johnson hand out the diplomas. Julie Ensor, county clerk of the court, will give the oath of office. “These officers are ready, willing and able to hit the ground running,” Johnson said in a statement. “They join more than 1,900 dedicated sworn officers and professional staff in the always challenging work of fighting crime and keeping our citizens safe.” …
