Lochearn Oak Avenue. 3600 block. Between 5 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 20. Residents found their home damaged and items stolen. The rear screen door was open and the inside door had been forced open. The home was ransacked and jewelry, electronics, cash, and an insurance check were missing. Pikesville Marnat Road. 2900 block. Between 1 p.m. Jan. 15 and 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22. A man who was allegedly checking houses in northwest Baltimore City and in Pikesville was arrested May 15. According to a Baltimore County police report, Joseph Rico Johnson, 47, of the 1100 block of Carey Street in the Sandtown-Winchester area of Baltimore, was charged with fourth-degree burglary. Johnson "was followed from Baltimore City, checking windows and doors and peering into houses," a police news release stated. "He came into the county and made the same attempts."
