Pikesville Precinct Crime: Burglars Steal 5 Computers from Business

In another crime, a burglar gets into a home through a bedroom window, leaves through a basement door.

The front door of a Lochearn business was busted by a burglar last week. Between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 21, the owner of Basic Computers, a computer services business at 6402 Liberty Road, locked the door and came back to find the door damaged and four laptops and a computer stolen. Lochearn Alter St. 7000 block. Between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday. A burglar broke into an upstairs bedroom window at a home, and stole a laptop computer and a camera.

Report: Man Kidnapped at Gunpoint Along Liberty Road

Two men allegedly emptied the victim's pockets and drove him to Baltimore City.

An Elkridge man was allegedy kidnapped and robbed in Milford Mill. Between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, two men allegedly threatened him with a "large, black metal gun with wooden handle" and made him get into a car, according to a report by Baltimore County police. One alleged kidnapper held the gun on the the victim while the other drove the unidentified vehicle, the report states. They had him empty his pockets, and allegedly stole his wallet, credit cards, driver's license, cash and checks. The first alleged kidnapper is described as a 6-foot black male, about age 50, with a medium build. He has black and gray hair, and a black and gray full beard, the report states. Baltimore County Man Wins $50K in Lottery

Reginald Rivers took the jackpot with a ticket he bought at Brenbrook Shell station, 8712 Liberty Road in Randallstown.

The $50,000 jackpot from the Maryand Lottery's Bonus Match 5 last week went to Reginald Rivers of Randallstown. The 66-year-old steelworker and has been married for 44 years to Ellen, a retired Baltimore County paramedic, according to the Maryland Lottery website. They have five children, six grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. Read about that fateful day when Reginald Rivers won the lottery. He bought the ticket at Brenbrook Shell station, 8712 Liberty Road in Randallstown. Rivers isn't the first big winner from the Liberty Road corridor. Last March, a teacher from Baltimore County Schools won the $656 million jackpot at the 7-Eleven, 8014 Liberty Road in Milford Mill. The $656 million jackpot was split among three coworkers.

Pikesville Precinct Crime: Burglar Grabs Gucci Luggage, TVs

Lochearn Liberty Road. 7300 block. Between 6 p.m. Jan. 30 and 12:15 a.m. Feb. 4. A burglar came into the home through a side window, ransacked the house and took two flatscreen TVs, a four-piece Gucci luggage set and a safe. Pikesville Bonnie Ridge Drive. 6800 block. Between 6:15 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Feb. 3. A resident came home from work to find a rear door open and two TVs missing. Suntop Court. Unit block. Between 12:30 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. Feb. 3. A resident awoke to find several items missing from her apartment, including a cell phone, jewelry, cash and a Mavado watch. A guest at the home may have left the door open, a police report states.

Robber Holds Up KFC Manager at Gunpoint

A KFC employee was robbed at gunpoint Thursday in Lochearn. At 7:47 p.m., a gunman came into the store at 7112 Liberty Road and took cash while the manager was counting it, according to a report from Baltimore County police. The robber threatened the manager with a silver, semi-automatic handgun, it states. The suspect is described as a man of unknown race who is 5-foot-8 and weighs 180 pounds, the report states. He wore black pants, a glove, cap, a black ski mask covering his face and a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

Woman Finds Burglar on Porch, Hammer Through Window

A Windsor Mill woman came home last Wednesday to find a burglary in progress. At about 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 16, a resident in the 7800 block of Liberty Road had just arrived home when she heard her front doorbell ring, followed by a noise behind her home, a police report states. She looked out back and saw a man inside her enclosed porch. The rear door had been forced open, and the rear window had been broken by a hammer thrown through it. According to the report, she told police the burglar then ran eastbound behind her home. He is described as a black man, 5-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds, the report states. He wore a black jacket and dark blue pants. A window was also broken in the front of the house. Nothing was stolen.

Thief Steals Safe, Video Surveillance System

A safe with cash inside was stolen New Year's Day from Gavin's Tag & Title in Milford Mill. At between 4 and 5 p.m., a burglar pried open a door, stole the safe and cash, as well as part of a video surveillance system, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. The business is located in the 8100 block of Liberty Rd. The door and security camera were also damaged, the report states.

CRIME: Pedestrians Victims of Armed, Unarmed Robberies

Milford Mill Liberty and Hilmar roads. Between 8:30-10:30 p.m. Nov. 7. A 22-year-old man was walking on Liberty Road when two men came up to him from behind. "He was punched in the back and pushed to the ground," according to a report by Baltimore County police. Western Winds Circle and Western Winds Drive. Between 11:30-11:46 p.m. Nov. 8. A man with a handgun came up to an 18-year-old man. The victim ran, dropping his iPhone, which was not recovered.
