Winning numbers in Saturday's drawing could net a $600 million prize.
The jackpot in Saturday's Powerball drawing has been raised to a game-record $600 million, Maryland Lottery officials announced Friday. The winning numbers were 5-16-22-23-29 with a Powerball of 6. However, the luck was not all bad for Maryland Powerball players. A $1 million winning ticket was sold in Maryland, and ten $10,000 prize tickets were sold. The lucky player won $1 million by matching all five white balls. The Maryland players who won $10,000 matched four of the white balls plus the Powerball number. Each Powerball ticket cost $2. Players choose five numbers plus a sixth Powerball number. Players matching all …
