Walmart To Bring Vision Center, Pharmacy, Subway, Salon

Randallstown's new business will be open 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

When the new Walmart Super Center opens next week in Randallstown, it brings with it a Subway restaurant and SmartStyle hair salon. That's in addition to Walmart's grocery, deli, bakery, home and garden center and pharmacy—including a drive-thru feature—according to a news release from Walmart. “The president, board of directors, members and staff of the Liberty Road Business Association are excited to welcome Walmart to the Liberty Road business community and are looking forward to Walmart’s involvement,” Harold G. Reid, LRBA executive director, said in a statement. PHOTOS: Main Street Randallstown Farmers Market Opens

In front of the Randallstown Branch Library, Del. Adrienne Jones, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Councilman Ken Oliver celebrated the opening of the Liberty Road Business Association's weekly market on Wednesday.

  The Main Street Randallstown Farmers Market opened Wednesday with visits from elected officials and the Woodlawn precinct commander Capt. Andre Davis of the Baltimore County Police Department. Del. Adrienne Jones, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Councilman Ken Oliver spoke during the festivities, and led the cheer "The Market is Open!" "I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out today. In order for this to be successful, we need you ... to tell your neighbors," Jones said, noting that there will be more farmers coming out as the season progresses.
