UPDATE: Help Police Find Douglas France

Douglas France, 81, who was missing from St. Agnes Lane in Gwynn Oak, has been found, Baltimore County police said Tuesday night.

UPDATE (10:34 p.m.) Douglas France, 81, walked away from his home at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning wearing a light green, baseball-style cap with a veteran's insignia and a pin, a brown plaid windbreaker jacket, tan shirt and dress pants. And he went missing most of the day, a news release from Baltimore County police states. However, by nighttime, he had been found. "Good news: Mr. Douglas France has returned home, alive and well," according to a tweet at 10:15 p.m. by Baltimore County, @BACOPoliceFire. Gwynn Oak Man, 2 Others, Charged in Stabbing

Police say the Jan. 3 crime was drug-related and occurred in Hilltop Acres in Perry Hall.

Police have arrested and charged the suspect and both victims involved in a brutal stabbing incident in Perry Hall.  According to Baltimore County police, at about 7:40 p.m. Jan. 3, Brandon Victorian, of Gwynn Oak, and Donte Smith arrived in the 5000 block of Hilltop Acres Road to meet a third man named Dallus Newson. After a disagreement, Victorian and Smith of Norfolk, VA, assaulted and robbed Newson, who then pulled out a knife and stabbed both men, police stated in a release. Victorian and Smith ran toward Winding Way, where they called 911 and were transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment, police said.  None of the men involved is a local resident and there is no known connection between the men and the …

Pikesville Alden Court. 7000 block. Between 3:30 and 11:45 p.m. Jan. 2. A burglar smashed a rear, sliding glass door, ransacked a bedroom and stole credit cards and a ring. Alden Road. 7000 block. Between 5 p.m. Jan. 2 and 4:15 p.m. Jan. 3. A burglar stood on a plant pot to reach up to a window and break the glass. Rooms in the home were ransacked and the burglar left the side door open. Teen Shot in Gywnn Oak Treated and Released

A 15-year-old was shot during a robbery on Dec. 29, according to Baltimore County Police.

A 15-year-old male was treated and released for a gunshot wound he suffered during a robbery, Baltimore County Police said. Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29., Baltimore County Police responded to an incident near Windsor Mill Road and Meadowview Drive in Gwynn Oak, where they found a 15-year-old male with one gunshot wound to his upper body. The teen told police he was shot during a robbery by two suspects, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. The 15-year-old has since been treated for his injuries and released. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects, the release said.

Gwynn Oak Man Gets Life for Woodlawn Murder

Antoine Reed was sentenced for a 2008 murder at Hunter's Crossing Apartments.

Antoine M. Reed Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court to life without parole in the 2008 shooting death of a Woodlawn apartment complex manager, according to a news release from the State's Attorney's office. Judge John J. Nagle III sentenced Reed, of Gwynn Oak, in the death of Milton Barnes, the manager of the Hunter's Crossing Apartments complex. Reed was convicted by a jury in August of first-degree murder and unlawful use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence . Barnes, "was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head on June 24, 2008," according to the news release. Barnes reportedly "had been having difficulties with an employee." Report: Missing Woodlawn Woman Found Dead in Leakin Park

Mary Tisdale, who police reported missing last month from her assisted living facility, died from exposure to the elements, according to WBFF-TV.

Mary Tisdale, the woman who went missing from her assisted living facility last month, was found in Leakin Park last weekend. She had died from exposure to the elements and hypothermia, according to a report by WBFF-TV. On Sept. 25, Baltimore County police said Tisdale, 62, walked away from her residence and was quickly reported missing on Sept. 20. Tisdale suffered from dementia, according to a news release. She didn't tell anyone where she was going. "She suffers from medical conditions that may cause confusion, and she may not recall where she lives," the Sept. 25 release stated.

Police Say Man Shot in Gwynn Oak While Waiting for Ride from Mother

A 20-year-old man was shot while sitting on a bench outside United Crab and Seafood Thursday, police say.

Baltimore County police are investigating an attempted murder near Randallstown Thursday night. A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times while he was waiting for his mother to pick him up from United Crab and Seafood in the 6000 block of Liberty Road in Gwynn Oak, police said. The victim, an employee of the restaurant, was sitting on a bench outside when a man approached from the rear of the building, produced a handgun and fired multiple times, according to a police press release. The victim was struck several times and sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police: 5 Teens Caught Ransacking, Burglarizing

Five teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with a burglary in Gwynn Oak. According to a police report, at about 1:55 p.m., the teens allegedly forced open the rear door of a home in the 3700 block of Croydon Road, allegedly ransacked the inside and stole coins, batteries, a radio and jewelry. A witness called police, who came to the home and arrested the suspects while the they were allegedly in the act of burglarizing it, the report states. The teens arrested were four boys, three of whom were age 17, and one age 16. One girl was 16, the report states. Each was charged as a juvenile on first-degree burglary charges, it states.

Pink-Gloved Burglar Flees Scene

A burglar who was prying open a shed ran and dropped a pair of pink and black nylon gloves after an alarm sounded. According to Baltimore County police, at about 3:05 a.m. Thursday, the burglar tried to get into the locked shed in the 3700 block of Oak Ave. in Gwynn Oak. There was $100 in damage to the aluminum door trim, but the burglar did not get in, the report states.

Pikesville Crime: A Van, Copper Piping, Bicycles Stolen

Someone reportedly took a bicycle from a yard and ran onto Forest Hill Road, dropped the bike and ran. Lochearn Patterson Avenue. 3600 block. Between 2:36 p.m. Dec. 28 to 8:34 a.m. May 26. Copper piping was reportedly taken from the basement ceiling in a vacant house. There were no signs of forced entry. Paris Road. 7000 block. Between May 11-17.
