Who Says Men and Women Can't Be Friends?

"Friends With Benefits" is an unexpectedly good summer movie.

Yes, Friends With Benefits is a fairly predictable romantic comedy. And, yes, the story follows a fairly common formula, especially for the times in which we live. But the chemistry between Justin Timberlake (Dylan) and Mila Kunis (Jamie), as well as their performances, was so good, that I bought it hook, line and sinker. Timberlake was so good this time that I forgave him for his performance in Bad Teacher. Kunis bucked the usual romantic-comedy female lead by being spunky and sarcastic. I liked these characters, and I was hooked from the opening. In a seemingly backward casting-style, the supporting actors are big names: Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins and Jenna Elfman. Harrelson and Clarkson stole a scene or two, …
