Superstitious? If so, you might want to try buying Ravens team member Ray Rice's home in the Grey Rock subdivision. It's possible the Super Bowl star's good fortune could rub off on you as the next owner. The home at 103 Old House Court in Pikesville, is listed at $319,900, according to the listing on Realtor.com Ray Rice is the owner, according to an article by Huffington Post. His three-story contemporary home with 2,100 square feet features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. "Bring all offers. Seller is motivated," the listing states.  There's a game room, hardwood floors throughout and a Jacuzzi tub.

Visions for Vacancies: Fields Building To Be Sold

The 120-year-old mainstay business will close its doors soon, and the building is being sold. Who should buy it and what kind of business would do well there?

We're losing our beloved Fields of Pikesville store after it's been in business for 120 years. Recently, owner Jeff Levin said he's going to close the store and sell the building, located at 1401 Reisterstown Road. There may be nothing that can replace that store and eatery in our hearts and our community history. However, we're going to have to get used to thinking of something else taking its place. What would be the best replacement for Fields of Pikesville? A newly renovated office building? Another mattress store? Dave & Busters? Starbucks? A shoe store? Clothing store? Remember, it's near the library and senior center, so what would be convenient for the multitudes that frequent those places? Tell us in the comments box.

All the old houses behind the Fields building disappeared several years ago,to make way for the New Giant store....I thought Walker Ave. could have made a great Antique Row, in Pikesville. Maybe an Antique Mall would be a fitting tribute, with the Fields Store Signs hanging on the walls....Maybe the lunch room could remain open...   more ›
