Visit Pikesville High School from 5-6:30 p.m. to meet representatives from about 24 colleges and universities, and to hear two higher education workshops.
Get information on colleges, the admissions process and finding the right school, during the Pikesville High School College and Career Fair. The event will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the school, 7621 Labyrinth Rd., according to the school's Edline website. Some activities will continue until 7 p.m. Representatives from 24 colleges or career fields are set to attend, including Penn State, Virginia Commonwealth University, Stevenson and Towson universities. Staff from the United States Air Force and The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and other schools and groups, will offer information on careers. The Great American Frontier Show is one of many free events on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through July 4, at the Pimlico Fair. The frontier show "features an award-winning horseback rider performing death-defying feats on a galloping horse," a news release states.
