Facebook Page: 'Send Mr. Wasmer To Ellen Show'
A Facebook page dedicated to sending Perry Hall High School guidance counselor, Jesse Wasmer, to the Ellen Show had more than 900 fans Friday.
Just hours after Monday's shooting at Perry Hall High School, students identified guidance counselor Jesse Wasmer as a hero who stopped potential for further violence in its tracks. Now, members of the community want his heroism featured on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The Facebook page "Send Mr. Wasmer To Ellen Show" was started Tuesday and had 923 "likes" as of 4 p.m. Friday. Police and witnesses say Jesse Wasmer rushed toward the alleged shooter in the cafeteria, but before Wasmer could subdue him, the armed student allegedly fired one round, striking 17-year-old Daniel Borowy.
