Baby Girl Danziger Is Sinai's First Born in 2013

The 9-pound 11-ounce Chaya Tzipora Danziger, a resident of Upper Park Heights, was born at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday.

An Upper Park Heights couple's baby girl was the first to be born in 2013 at the BirthPlace at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. It was midnight Tuesday—the beginning of the new year—when Elisheva and Kalman Danziger of the Greenspring area near Pikesville got to the registration desk. And by 1:43 a.m., Chaya Tzipora Danziger was born, weighing 9 pounds, 11 ounces. "She was coming fast," Elisheva said. They named their daughter after Elisheva's great grandmother—Chaya Tzipora Halon—who hailed from Israel and later New York City, Elisheva said. Visit Pikesville Patch's Facebook page for more photos.
