New Towne Diner Closes Its Doors

The Owings Mills Diner has been closed for at least a week-and-a-half.

The New Towne Diner suddenly closed the doors at its Reisterstown Road restaurant in Owings Mills. The diner was closed as early as Feb. 5, according to several Patch readers. On Thursday, there were no people inside, no cars in the parking lot and a stack of newspapers at the front door. The phone line has been temporarily disconnected, according to an automated message. Two Patch readers left positive reviews on the diner’s directory listing. “Great food and great service!” wrote Bob Albert. The diner’s listing on Yelp has much more negative reviews. “Awful service, sub-par food,” wrote Rebecca G. Will you miss the New Towne Diner? What do you hope will take its place? Tell us in the comments.
