Pikesville Crossland Road. 7800 block. Between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Cash totaling $60 was reported missing from two locked vehicles parked in the driveway of a home. An unknown tool was used to unlock the vehicles. Clarendon Avenue. 200 block. Between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday. Clothing, canned goods, jewelry, sneakers a cell phone and $379 in cash were reported missing from a home. The resident told police someone apparently forced open the front door. Scotts Caves Road. 8100 block. Between 9 p.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Cash totaling $100, a cell phone and Whistler Radar detector were reported missing from a vehicle. Baltimore County police: A man robbed the bank at lunchtime.
A man robbed the PNC Bank inside Pikesville's Giant Food Tuesday, and police are still investigating, said Lt. William Lally of the Baltimore County Police Department. The Pikesville precinct received the report of a bank robbery at about 12:37 p.m., Lally said. "A man came in and presented a note," he said, noting that there will be more information later Tuesday. Just after the robbery was reported, a helicopter searched the area near Centre Court in Pikesville, flying over parts of Druid Ridge Cemetery. Inside Giant Food, the PNC Bank branch was closed, a sign hung in front of the windows, and a sign in the door said "Temporarily Closed."
