Baltimore County police arrested two men last week in the Sept. 30, 2009, stabbing death of Rodney Lewis in his Randallstown home. On Jan. 2, police arrested Eric Isaiah Johnson, according to a news release. Then, on Jan. 3, police arrested Leonard Briscoe. Both have been charged with first-degree murder. At about 4 p.m. Sept. 30, 2009, officers went to the Lewis' residence in the 9500 block of Liberty Road. During their investigation, police found out that Johnson was staying with Lewis and Lewis' wife. On that day someone had called and reported "finding the body of Rodney Lewis deceased on the kitchen floor," a county news release states. Ronald White, 49, is arrested on evidence allegedly matching his DNA in another case.
Baltimore County police have charged a Baltimore man with rape based on DNA evidence from a 1997 crime. Ronald White, 49, of the 2800 block of Forest Glen Road in northwest Baltimore, was arrested Oct. 1 and was indicted Nov. 5, according to a police statement. The statement alleges that on Feb. 2, 1997, a Woodlawn woman came home to find White in her living room. She locked herself in her bedroom, but White allegedly kicked in the door, sexually assaulted her and left the room. She escaped by jumping out of her second-story window, in the 1600 block of Bluffdale Road in Woodlawn, before seeking help from a neighbor. An argument between friends turned into a crime after the man allegedly put both hands around her neck. According to a report from Baltimore County police, at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, during a verbal altercation, the man allegedly went into the woman's bedroom, allegedly grabbed her off the bed and threw her against the wall. Her head allegedly struck the wall at her home in the 8300 block of Township Dr. in Owings Mills. "The suspect then placed both his hands around the victim's neck and began choking her," the report states. He allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she called police. Police know who the suspect is and have issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of first- and second-degree assaut, the report states.

A teenage boy was arrested Aug. 14 in connection with an attempted burglary at a Brighton home on Lochearn, authorities said. At 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14, a resident reportedly saw the 17-year-old trying to open her garage door and front door in the 6700 block of Parsons Ave., according to a Pikesville police precinct report. After he allegedly went behind the house and the resident yelled at him, the teen got on his bicycle and rode toward Southern Cross Drive, the police report states. Police say they caught the teen, a resident of Lochearn, at Red Haven Drive and North Alter Street.

Two teenage boys and two preteens were charged with second-degree burglary after police say they caught them stealing a bicycle. At 3:08 a.m. Aug. 13, someone allegedly saw the boys stealing an orange and black Mongoose brand bike, valued at $80, from a storage room in the 6900-block of Marsue Dr., a police report states. When police arrived, the boys allegedly ran and officers caught them. Police charged them with second-degree burglary. The boys are 17, 15, 12 and 11 years old, the report states. They are from ZIP codes 21215 and 21207.

A juvenile reported missing was found—and then arrested, according to Baltimore County police. On Aug. 2, police found the missing 13-year-old boy, who is a resident of Lochearn. Police say that they then discovered the boy had allegedly stolen a bicycle from a home in the 3400 block of Cardinal Court in Lochearn, according to a police report. Police returned the bicycle, a purple Rallye ATB racer, to the owner.

A man who was allegedly checking houses in northwest Baltimore City and in Pikesville was arrested May 15. According to a Baltimore County police report, Joseph Rico Johnson, 47, of the 1100 block of Carey Street in the Sandtown-Winchester area of Baltimore, was charged with fourth-degree burglary. Johnson "was followed from Baltimore City, checking windows and doors and peering into houses," a police news release stated. "He came into the county and made the same attempts." Police were called to the school Monday after two girls fought
A fight Monday at Pikesville High School led to one girl being arrested, said Lt. William Lally of the Baltimore County Police Department. At about 10 a.m., two girls fought at the school, so school personnel intervened and called police, Lally said. One of the girls allegedly punched a police officer, so she was taken to the station and charged with assault and resisting arrest, he said. She was released to her mother, Lally said.

Baltimore County police said they arrested two Baltimore City residents in connection with a March 26 Pikesville burglary. Brian Scott Burkhart, 34, and Amanda Lynn Louk, 27, each face first, third and fourth-degree burglary charges after police said they found them in a Pikesville yard, according to a police report. The two are residents of the same house in 600 block of S. Bentalou St., the report states. Police say they found the pair in a fenced-in yard of a home the 1300 block of Harden Lane in Pikesville. Police said they heard the home's alarm sounding and found the rear door unlocked. An unlocked basement window was allegedly how the two got into the home, police said.
