Sixteen Milford Mill residents were displaced Friday morning after a fire broke out at their apartment buildings. At about 2:07 a.m., firefighters were called to 3628 Yennar Lane, where fire was coming up through the roof, according to a press release from the Baltimore County Fire Department. Fire spread through the attic area of the first apartment building to second building at 3530 Yennar Lane, the release states. In all, 12 apartments were damaged, and the American Red Cross helped them find other places to stay. Police Get Warrant in 2010 Pikesville Rape

Baltimore County police: DNA matches Damilola Animashaun who is in custody at Rikers Island in New York.

A man under arrest in New York finds himself charged in a 2010 Pikesville rape. Damilola Animashaun, 23, is charged with the sexual assault of "a 19-year-old woman in the laundry room of an apartment building," according to a statement issued Wednesday by the Baltimore County Police Department. The warrant was issued on Aug. 10 but just made public Wednesday, according to the statement. The warrant will be served when he is released from Rikers Island. "There is no projected release date at this time,” according to the statement.
