UPDATE (11:45 a.m.) A 7-Eleven clerk in Pikesville was robbed at gunpoint recently. At 1 a.m. Feb. 20, a robber with a black mask on his face came into the store at 1 Greenwood Place, carrying a long-barrel gun, according to a report by Baltimore County police. It was a shotgun or rifle, the report states. After the robber pointed the gun at the clerk and asked for money, the clerk reportedly put cash from two registers into a paper bag, according to a police spokeswoman. UPDATE (1 p.m. Jan. 30)-Two robbers threatened a 7-Eleven clerk with a knife last week and stole cash and cigarettes before punching him. At 1:25 a.m. Jan. 22, the men got into the Pikesville store by forcing open the locked front door, according to a report from Baltimore County police. They threatened the clerk with a knife, and stole cash from both registers as well as 10 packs of Newport cigarettes, from the store at 1 Greenwood Place, it states. They punched him twice on his face and broke his glasses, according to another police report. One of the suspects is described as a black teen, 5-foot-8 tall who wore a dark gray hoodie, black sweatpants and mask, black-and-white shoes and black gloves. An armed robber stole cash from the 7-Eleven on Reisterstown Road near McHenry Avenue. Between 3:15-3:19 p.m. Dec. 27, the robber came into the store, demanded money from a clerk and showed him a handgun, a report from the Baltimore County Police Department states. The robber, described as a black man between ages 25-30, and between 5-foot 8 inches and 6 feet tall, ran away with $40 in cash, it states. He was reportedly wearing a hoodie, jeans and dark shoes.

An armed robber stole 30 packs of cigarettes from the downtown Pikesville 7-Eleven store. At 9:08 p.m. Oct. 26, at 1204 Reisterstown Rd., a woman led an employee to believe that she had a handgun, and stole 30 packs of Newports, according to a Baltimore County police report. Police said witnesses describe the robber as having a large build. She wore a blue jacket and black baseball-style hat.

An arsonist set a pile of magazines on fire near a propane tank outside an Owings Mills 7-Eleven. At about 1:02 a.m. July 13, police were called to the store at 8890 McDonogh Rd., where the suspected arson had occurred. Siding on the building was damaged and gasoline was spilled around the area. Lochearn Westridge Road. 6600 block. Between 1 a.m. July 9 and 2 p.m. July 14. A burglar removed a master lock on a shed door and stole some equipment. Stolen were a trimmer, a leaf blower and a John Deere mower. It's not known how the burglar transported the items away from the home. Milford Mill Liberty Road. 8011. The Milford Mill convenience store made famous by selling the winning Mega Millions Lottery ticket this year was held up at gunpoint July 2.
A robber used a shotgun to threaten a 7-Eleven employee into handing over cash and cigarettes. At 5:05 a.m. July 2, a man pointed a shotgun at the cashier at 8014 Liberty Rd. and demanded cash and "all of the Newport 100s," according to Baltimore County police. He put the stash—including the 10 packs of smokes—in a white, plastic garbage bag with yellow draw strings, a police report states. At first he ran with the bag, then he casually walked north on Rockdale Terrace, it states. This particular 7-Eleven in Milford Mill became the center of worldwide media attention in March after it sold one of the winning Mega Millions Lottery tickets in its record-breaking $656 million jackpot.

The Village Green shopping center appears desolate.
What happened to the 7-Eleven in Village Green shopping center? The windows are papered, the large 7-Eleven sign has been removed. And, if I'm not mistaken, the bushes along Reisterstown Road have been taken out, as well. I've placed a call to KLNB Retail, the company listed on a sign at the site. But until I get a response, maybe Patch readers could add some insight. Do you know when it closed? Do you miss it? If you're not familiar with Village Green, it's the shopping center north of Office Depot on Reisterstown Road. A wigged man with a red bandana over his face allegedly pulled a long rifle or shotgun from his backpack early Saturday at a Pikesville 7-Eleven, authorities said. At about 3 a.m. at the 7-Eleven, located at 1 Greenwood Place, the robber pointed the gun at the clerk before stealing $150 in cash and several packs of Newport cigarettes, according to a report from Baltimore County police. The man, who reportedly wore a black wig, ran north from the store, according to a police report.
