Marcel and his family, including his mother, Omega Bullock, are from New York City, and are visiting in Reservoir Hill, Baltimore. It was opening day for Santa Claus at Reisterstown Road Plaza. He will visit the Plaza on three more Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 4, 11 and 18. Pictures with Santa are free. Santa Claus is also known as Selwyn Sorillo, formerly of Baltimore, now of Red Lion, Penn.

A Hanukkah display is nestled near Center Court at Reisterstown Road Plaza. The Plaza plans a Hanukkah event from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 5, headlined by the Jewish Klezmer Band, a Baltimore area group. There will be dreidel games, prizes and other activities. The Plaza is located at 6776 Reisterstown Road.
