Foundations for Home and Community is a very helpful resource for children in the Mid Atlantic area, with locations in numerous cities in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. They provide foster care and other services to children in severe need. Once placed in a suitable home, the children are given a first class environment, rich with education and support, many with home based teaching solutions.
