6 Auto Thefts, Gourmet Again Chef Winning, What's Sold/ What's for Sale on Pikesville Patch

Five things you should know this week in Pikesville. Thunderstorms are possible Monday and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service, and the weekly farmers market is Tuesday.

1. Keep a lookout in your neighborhood. Baltimore County Police are asking residents of the Pikesville Precinct to be especially observant, since there have been six automobile thefts during the past week. Where the thefts have occurred, and how to prevent more.

3. Thunderstorms possible. There could be thunderstorms Monday night, as well as Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Those storms could come after 11 p.m. Monday, and before 8 p.m. Tuesday. But the rest of the week could be sunny or partly sunny through Sunday, when there's a 30 percent chance of showers. 4. Fordham advances in food fight. Gourmet Again's Melissa Fordham has already defeated 12 Baltimore area chefs during the Mason Dixon Master Chef Tournament. She's now one of four finalists. Tickets for the tasty fundraising competition are available in advance or at the door for the Aug. 19 and Aug. 20 competitions. Fordham's in the Aug. 20 event.
