Prom Dresses Wanted for Glass Slippers Boutique

Dresses will be collected from noon to 4 p.m. April 15 at Hooks Village shopping center in Pikesville, and will later be given to Baltimore County girls who cannot afford to buy one.

Help girls experience their prom day by donating new or nearly new prom dresses to the Jewish Community Center's Glass Slipper Boutique.

A collection takes place from noon to 4 p.m. at Hooks Village Shopping Center, 25 Hooks Ln., Pikesville.

Alex Meyer, 17, of Owings Mills, coordinates the event so that girls ages 14-18 can come to the JCC and pick out a gown, free of charge, according to a news release from the JCC.
