PHOTOS: Recovery Houses Find Help in Downtown Pikesville

needed a spot with visibility to promote its upcoming event, Laughter for Recovery with Jay Mohr.

So decided there was a way a vacant building they own, the former Mr. Fritz-Fantasia store, could be of some use. 

"We want to do something for the community, to help them (the Recovery House) with visibility," Mark Renbaum of Schwaber Properties said Wednesday at the vacant building where Signs By Tomorrow worker Pete Morris, of Mt. Washington, helped post the sign announcing the show.

The Jay Mohr event is set for 8 p.m., Nov. 5 at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts.

The addiction recovery program at Jewish Recovery Houses, located in two houses in Upper Park Heights, is designed to support Jewish men and women.
