Menorah and Car Parade Set for Dec. 20

The Baltimore Chanukah Parade could include up to 70 cars carrying menorahs to the candle lighting at McKeldin Square.

Dust off the car menorah.

It's almost time for the Baltimore Chanukah Parade. On Dec. 20, the first night of Chanukah, about 70 motorists are expected to affix menorahs atop their vehicles and head south on I-83, parade-style, to the menorah lighting downtown.

Want to participate, but don't have the right menorah? You can borrow one, for a $50 deposit. Details are on the parade registration form. You must have the menorah on your car for the entire Chanukah, the form states.
