Blaze, Other Cats Find Homes, Some Awaiting Adoption

Cats and kittens at the Feline Rescue Association are spayed and neutered for better health.

The cat and kitten population is ever-growing, as members of the Feline Rescue Association in Pikesville know.

Some cats previously featured in Pikesville Patch have already been adopted, including Blaze, who was on the FRA's already adopted list for Oct. 26, and Chessie who was adopted Oct. 23.

FRA's network of foster parents take care of cats and kittens who are looking for their forever homes.

The volunteer-based group rescues stray, feral and abandoned cats from the Baltimore Metro area and places the cats and kittens in a network of foster homes. 

All its kittens and cats are spayed or neutered, helping them lead longer, healthier lives.

You can see cats and kittens from FRA at weekend adoption events from noon-5 p.m. Saturdays at the Petco in Owings Mills and Sundays at the Petco in Glen Burnie, Md.
