The Journey, Together: 25 Years After Operation Exodus Celebratory Gala featuring Natan Sharansky
7:00 p.m.
In 1987, Baltimoreans advocated and fundraised in a national movement, Operation Exodus that resettled 1.5 million Soviet Jews. Today, after decades of life in Jewish Baltimore, former Russian émigrés and advocates come together in celebration of our accomplishments. Keynote speaker Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel, and a long-time refusenik will share his personal passionate perspective.

The gala, held at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, 20 West Baltimore Street, will feature musical performances, kosher dining and dancing. Tickets are $125. For information, go to associated.org/together.

PJ Library Partners with Shirlala
2:00 p.m.
Families with young children can enjoy a dynamic, interactive program of joy, spirit, story and songs performed by Shira Kline, aka ShirLaLa. This award-winning, New York-based performer and music educator, professional circus drummer and glitter pink glam rock star has performed in hundreds of venues internationally.
