The Liberty Road Business Association is celebrating the end of the summer season with two events: a festival and a feast.
First is the Back-To-School Fest, set for 5-9 p.m. Aug. 24, according to association member Herman Reid.
It will be held on a grassy area between Marriottsville Road and Deer Park. Festivities will include performances by local musicians and dancers, he said.
Also, a Crab Feast will be held from 3-6 p.m., Sept. 16. That event will be held at Diamondz Banquet Hall, 9980 Liberty Road, also in Kings Point, Reid said.
The association puts events together as part of its efforts to promote the businesses and community of Liberty Road, Reid said.
"The LRBA advocates for the business community—that's what sustains us," he added.
The association also sponsors the from 1-5 p.m. Wednesdays, through Sept. 12.
The market is held front of the Randallstown Branch Library, 8604 Liberty Rd, in the shopping center.
