It's all part of the plan to get Pikesville residents into the new store.

"We feel that the community will appreciate having a place in town where they can grab breakfast, lunch and dinner or enjoy a cup of coffee and bakery fresh sweets with friends," Regional Director Erin Hasselgren said in a statement.

"Pikesville is a lively community," said CEO Mike Haslip, noting that suburban Baltimore may be the company's target for future cafes as well.

The new restaurant is located in the former site of that closed about one year ago—in early July 2011.

It's in the shopping center, 1809 Reisterstown Rd. and includes outdoor seating on a newly built covered patio with fans overhead.

The first location in the Baltimore area is already open, and is located at the Inner Harbor, 500 E. Pratt St. in Baltimore City, according to the company website.

In Pikesville, customers can look forward to the following items from the menu, according to the release:

Breakfast: Made-to-order Anaheim scrambler

Lunch: Chicken Pomodori panini

Dinner: Pesto Cavatappi

Dessert: Cinnamon creme cake

Editor's Note: Hours for the new Pikesville store will be as follows, according to John Arango: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
