PHS Athletics Begin Practice Saturday

The school year doesn't start at Pikesville High for until later this month. But it's time for everything to get underway in sports as tryouts/practices are scheduled to begin on Saturday.

The school already had its sportsmanship and meet the coaches night earlier this week, and now the on-field work begins.

According to the school's web site, Pikesville will be fielding teams in football, soccer (boys and girls), field hockey, volleyball, cheerleading, boys (boys and girls) and cross country (boys and girls).

Any athlete that wants to play should check the school's website for what's needed, specifically the "Guidelines to Participate in Pikesville High" document.
