Pikesville High School boys varsity lacrosse coach Craig Campbell is among seven coaches for the Maryland team competing in the fourth annual National Lacrosse Classic.
Top high school underclassman lacrosse players from throughout the country, including 66 boys and girls from Maryland, will compete in the event, set for July 6-8 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, according to an article in The Baltimore Sun.
Regional teams compete to become the U.S. champion, according to the article. Players are selected for regional teams from tryouts scheduled throughout the country.
The event is open to the public.
