The Orioles will host Boston to open the season on March 31, and face the National League Central in interleague play.

The Baltimore Orioles season is far from over as players and fans push for the playoffs, but the team is already thinking about next year, as the Orioles and other major league teams unveiled the 2014 schedule.

The Orioles will open the season March 31 at Camden Yards against the Boston Red Sox. The team will be visiting Boston for Patriots Day on April 21, traditionally a morning start. It will also be a somber occasion for Bostonians as they observe a year since the Boston Marathon bombing.
The team will be on the road for 18 games in May, including visits to Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Houston. That's the most road games in any month of the 2014 season.

The team will wrap the season on the road with trips to New York and Toronto. Like this year, many of the season's final games will be against division opponents.

In interleague matchups, the Birds will square off against the National League Central. The St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds will visit Camden Yards in August and September, respectively, while the Orioles will travel to the Brewers in May and the Chicago Cubs in August.

The Orioles will have home and home sets against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals. The Orioles will host the Pirates—who on Monday clinched their first winning season since 1992—for two games in late April, then visit Pittsburgh for two more in May. The O's will visit the Nats July 7 and 8, then host the two following games.
