Martina McBride Sings the National Anthem at Ravens Game

Grammy Award-winner and country music singer Martina McBride will sing the National Anthem at the Ravens v Jets game Oct. 2.

She'll sing "I'm Gonna Love You Through It," a song of hope and inspiration for those who have been affected by breast cancer, according to a Ravens news release.

Fifty women—including breast cancer survivors and those undergoing treatment will join her on stage, the release states.

And to show support, the following will be done at the game on Sunday, according to the release:

  • Distribute 40,000 pink ribbons to fans
  • Fans will do a card stunt showing the Ravens' and NFL's support of breast cancer awareness.
  • Ravens will wear pink-themed items throughout the game
  • Cheerleaders will sport pink pom-pons
  • Marching Ravens will wear pink plumes
  • Game-worn items will be auctioned.

There are numerous other awareness events in October, within the city and in Baltimore County.
