Sudbrook Magnet Choir Gets State Honors

Five other BCPS ensembles are also among the highest rated at state festivals.

Sudbrook Magnet Middle School Choir was among six singing groups that recently earned "superior" ratings—the highest rating—at state music festivals, according to a Baltimore County Public Schools news release.

The full list of honorees as listed in the release includes:

  • Cockeysville Middle School Winds of Cockeysville
  • Cockeysville Middle School Eighth-Grade Band
  • Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Concert Choir
  • Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Chamber Choir
  • Perry Hall High School Wind Ensemble

A choir has to be good to even make it to the state festivals, according to the news release. Basically, it must earn superior ratings at the county level first.
