Five Kid-Friendly Events This Week in Pikesville

Introduce kids to the possibilities of sports by attending soccer or volleyball games. There's also a storytime, juggling and magic for kids and a volunteer opportunity for teens.

1. Cheer for a home team. varsity soccer teams play Perry Hall High School on Tuesday. Boys' game is , and Can’t make this game? The next boys' game is against Kenwood High School , also at PHS, located at 7621 Labyrinth Road.

2. . Pikesville High School's jv and varsity teams play Hereford High School at 3:45 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, on Wednesday at Pikesville.

4. ' Beowulf T. Wonderbunny and Tom Lilly will juggle and do magic tricks for children of all ages at 7 p.m. Thursday at the . Children 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Teens who need volunteer hours can join Woodholme Green Team during the event, Spruce Up the Neighborhood and Cookout, set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers will meet at Woodholme Avenue and Trentham Drive in Pikesville to pick up trash, cans, bottles and other recyclables, and to help trim bushes throughout the neighborhood.
