Baltimore-born author, journalist and NPR commentator Eric Weiner will discuss his new book, Man Seeks God: My Flirtations with the Divine. After a health scare leaves him reeling, Weiner – an atheist by default – details in the book a worldwide search for an experience of the divine. His journey takes place at a time when more Americans than ever – nearly one in three – are choosing a new faith. At each stop along the way, the author tackles pressing spiritual question. With wit and warmth, Weiner leaves no stone unturned. His previous book, The Geography of Bliss: One Grump's Search for the Happiest Places in the World, was a huge best-seller.
