Celebrating Gifted and Talented Education Reception Set for Feb. 29

An educator from Pikesville and one from Woodlawn are among those who will be honored Feb. 29 for their work with gifted and talented education.

Tiffany Livingstone is principal of Featherbed Lane Elementary School in Woodlawn.

Rachel Zeller, of Wellwood International Elementary in Pikesville, is a teacher and gifted and talented facilitator, according to a news release from Baltimore County Public Schools.

The Maryland State Advisory Council will honor them, from the BCPS system, for their contributions to gifted and talented education.

They will receive awards during the council's annual "Celebrating Gifted and Talented Education" reception, set for 5-8 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Johns Hopkins Applie Physics Laboratory Kossiakoff Center in Laurel.

Their awards are:

  • Livingstone—Outstanding Educator in Gifted and Talented Education—School or School System Administrator.
  • Zeller—Outstanding Educator, Program Coordinator.
