Thunderstorms Expected in Pikesville Area

The National Weather Service forecast calls for thunderstorms by 11 p.m. Monday, and again on Tuesday.

Rain and thunderstorms are ahead for the Pikesville area.

According to the National Weather Service, there's a 70 percent chance of those storms, and they could begin by 11 p.m. Monday, bringing up to .25 inches of rain.

The low tonight will be about 67 degrees, the Garrison forecast states.

Thunderstorms could come again after 1 p.m. Tuesday, with gusts up to 33 mph, it states.

As of 5:51 p. Monday, a hazardous weather outlook was still in effect for the Chesapeake Bay area, Central Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.

That's through Tuesday.

On Tuesday afternoon and evening there could be widespread thunderstorms heavy downpours bringing flash flooding and possibly isolated tornadoes as a cold front moves in, it states.
