State, County Leaders Light Menorah in Pikesville

UPDATE (11:30 a.m.)—On Thursday, Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown lit the shamash lamp, and Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz lit the three lamps on the menorah at The Chanukah House in Pikesville.

About 200 people attended the menorah lighting ceremony that marked the third night of Chanukah.

The lighting Friday—the fourth night, Shabbos—will be held at about 4:15 p.m., before Shabbat candles are lit.

The Chanukah House yard is open for browsing during each of the eight days of Chanukah, as well as through the end of December.
