Santa's on the Move: Track Him with Norad

On Christmas Eve, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters tell stories to younger children about Santa Claus and his travels.

This year, use Norad as a prop when telling your tales, and show kids where Santa actually is—minute-by-minute.

As of 3:32 p.m. Saturday, Santa was in the Crozet Islands, French Southern Territories. His next stops: Prince Edward Islands, South Africa, and Taolagnaro, Madagascar.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) are making sure that Santa's vehicle, Santa One can take off, and will fly safely, according to an article from the Department of Defense.
