Pikesville Man Files Complaint against Baltimore County Council

Ralph Jaffe says the public wasn't given enough notice of hearings on increasing stormwater fees.

Baltimore County Council should have given the public proper notice of hearings on stormwater fee increases, a Pikesville resident said.

And he's filed a complaint, according to a report in The Baltimore Sun.

In April the Council approved the fees, which added a flat $21 fee to townhouses and $39 for single-family detached homes. The fee was increased by $3 after the Council cut rates for nonprofits. Businesses will pay a fee based on the amount of impervious surface on their properties.
