No Trash Collection May 30. What To Do Instead

There's no Baltimore County trash or recycling pickup on Monday, Memorial Day including in Pikesville. Even the drop-off centers will be closed.

Baltimore County trash and recycling collection will not take place on May 30 because of the Memorial Day holiday.

Baltimore County announced the following changes to the normal trash and recyclables collections for next week:

  • Residents whose trash or yard materials would have been normally collected on Monday, May 30, should set it out the night of May 30 for collection on May 31.
  • Residents whose single-stream recyclables would normally have been collected on May 30, should hold recyclables until the next scheduled recycling collection day (June 6).

Keep in mind that all collections made during the week after Memorial Day might be made later than usual, according to the announcement. But, if collectors are late picking up your items next week, leave them out until they're collected.
